- Eligibility
- A genuine qualifying investment. Business investors need the relevant foreign-investment approval and operating licence, property-based applicants must meet their separate title and financial tests.
- Requirements
- Investment approval, business licence or qualifying property records, passport, financial-support and background evidence. Select the appropriate provisional, business, direct or permanent category, duration and ongoing obligations differ, and permanent status is not automatic on making an investment.

Investor residence
Obtain residence permission under the investment route and maintain lawful residence.

Qualifying residence · 10 years
Establish ten years of continuous ordinary lawful residence and obtain the immigration residence certification required for naturalisation.
- 03
Vanuatu citizenship
Apply through the naturalisation process and satisfy the Citizenship Commission’s conditions. Residence certification is not itself citizenship approval.
There is no compulsory permanent-residence step stated in this naturalisation process. This route is distinct from direct citizenship by investment.
