Temporary retirement permission for eligible applicants aged 50 or over.

Long-stay or temporary permission

Retirement permission is renewable temporary stay, not an investment-to-citizenship programme. Non-O-A and Non-O-X have different rules and must not be treated as identical.

Benefits
An initial retirement stay with the possibility of extensions while the retirement conditions continue to be met.
Eligibility
Age 50 or above with qualifying financial evidence and a genuine retirement purpose. It does not authorise employment.
Requirements
Normally THB 800,000 in qualifying funds or THB 65,000 monthly income. Bank location, holding periods and extension evidence must satisfy the responsible consulate and Thai immigration office.
