Digital Nomad assessment

Permission under the selected route: Meet the specific entry, residence or work conditions of this category. A residence permit does not generally authorise employment. Long-term residence and nationality have separate eligibility and actual-residence requirements, and are not granted by registering a company or receiving a nomad certificate.

Confirm nationality, age, qualifications and remote-work eligibility, then apply for the nomad certificate. After certification, complete the separately required visa and residence applications through the competent authorities.

Applicants must be aged 21 to 55, hold a university degree and have an eligible nationality from the official list. Foreign remote work and the required income must be demonstrated.

Provide foreign employment or client evidence and income of at least USD 3,000 monthly or USD 36,000 annually, with identity, qualification and other requested documents. Nationality eligibility must be checked before preparation.

The certificate supports the prescribed visa process for eligible remote workers. It is not itself a visa, residence permit or permission for local employment.

Pakistan is not on the official eligible-nationality list reviewed on 8 October 2026. A certificate or foreign-income level does not override nationality or immigration requirements.
