- Permission to operate the approved business, normally for up to 18 months. Entrepreneurial self-employment does not count towards Canadian Experience Class experience.
- Eligibility
- Control at least 51% of the business and demonstrate significant economic, social or cultural benefit, genuine temporary intent and a credible operating plan.
- Requirements
- Ownership records, evidence supporting the claimed benefit, business funding separate from personal support funds, and the employer-portal submission. Personal funds must cover the applicable family-size low-income threshold for the proposed stay, document a transition or exit plan.
