Eligibility
Normally two years of legal residence in Italy after marriage, or three years if living abroad. These periods are halved where the couple has children.
Requirements
The relationship must remain legally valid, register it in Italy and provide civil and criminal records plus B1 Italian evidence, unless exempt. Security and character checks apply.
