Third-country investors meeting the qualifying investment and background checks. Buying real estate does not qualify under the current ARI investment categories.
Requirements
Options include €500,000 in qualifying non-real-estate funds, €250,000 in eligible arts or heritage support, qualifying research/business investment or job creation. Evidence of lawful funds, insurance and investment maintenance is required, stay at least seven days in year one and 14 per subsequent two-year period.

Requirements
Evidence of the proposed business or service activity, available resources, accommodation, passport and visa documents. Regulated professions require recognition or authorisation, the residence-permit stage is separate from the entry visa.

How does this application work?
Complete a qualifying ARI investment and obtain its supporting certificates. Submit the ARI application and attend the required AIMA appointment and biometrics. Keep the investment and meet the minimum-stay rules for renewal, ordinary property purchases are not an eligible ARI investment.
